Sherri A. Daniels

Sherri Daniels has over 28 years professional investment and wealth management expertise which contribute to her focus on strategic business leadership at Banyan Partners. As Chief Operating Officer, and Principal, she is responsible for strategic planning, client development and marketing while managing the day-to-day business activities including operations, compliance, human resources, and family-office services.

She is a member of Banyan’s Investment, Compliance, and Executive Committee where she supports the CEO on the strategic execution of the firm’s business plan and coordinates the integration of the firm’s acquisitions while continually advancing the firm’s mission to deliver a unique client experience.

Sherri was the former president of Weiss Capital Management, a Florida-based independent investment adviser acquired by Banyan in 2011. Having begun her investment career in 1984, Sherri joined the Florida investment firm in 1990 and served as President of its three separate investment services firms — an independent investment advisory arm, a broker-dealer, and an investment company overseeing hundreds of millions in assets for private clients, institutions and foundations.

Since joining Banyan, she has been able to use her experience and skills to help drive significant asset growth and build a national brand unique in the independent investment advisory space.

Sherri graduated from Southwest Texas State University. She speaks regularly at national industry conferences and serves the community through involvement in various charitable organizations. She enjoys her free time reading, boating, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
