Joseph E. Powers, III

Director of Fixed Income

JP Powers manages the firm’s proprietary fixed income and cash management strategies. Mr. Powers is responsible for both taxable and tax-exempt fixed income management, including investment policies, portfolio construction, research and trading. JP works closely with Client Advisors to design and build fixed income portfolios as part of each client’s comprehensive wealth solutions.

JP was Director of Fixed Income for Silver Bridge Advisors, which was acquired by Banyan in 2013. Prior to joining Silver Bridge, he worked in State Street Corporation’s mutual fund department.

JP earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
