Lauri B. London, JD

Lauri London is the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel at Banyan Partners. With over 18 years of varied experience in the financial services industry, she is responsible for the firm’s compliance with Federal and state securities laws. She works closely with all areas of the firm and is responsible for proactively identifying, evaluating, mitigating and reporting on compliance, legal and reputational risks for the firm.

Lauri London was a Managing Director and the former General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Ark Asset Management Co., Inc. At Ark, a registered investment adviser with over $20 billion in assets including several private funds, she was responsible for all legal and compliance matters for Ark and its affiliated companies. Prior to her 10-year career with Ark, Lauri was an associate in the corporate practice of a large law firm in New York, and her experience in law firm practice includes securities offerings, regulatory matters, real estate, as well as general corporate law. Prior to entering law school, Lauri, who is also a CPA, worked as an accountant in the financial services industry.

Lauri holds a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University in Accounting. Lauri is also a Trustee of the Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy, a local private school attended by her son and daughter.
