Aaron J. Vann, MBA

Aaron Vann is the Director of Quantitative Research for Banyan Partners.  As Director, Aaron is tasked with the continued development, implementation, analysis and distribution of different proprietary quantitative models. Aaron’s work supports stock selection and review, as well as, portfolio construction and integrity for Banyan’s different product offerings.  

Previously, Aaron was the Director of Trading and Portfolio Operations for Rushmore Investment Advisors, Inc., a Texas-based RIA acquired by Banyan in 2013. His responsibilities included the management of daily work flow as it pertained to portfolio operations, construction and management.  Aaron also served as a member of the Executive and Investment Committee’s. His responsibilities included running one of Rushmore’s growth equity portfolios, as well as, development and management of the company’s quantitative processes used for stock selection and model maintenance.

Aaron earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He later received a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, where he was honored as graduating valedictorian; and selected to work with a fortune 500 company running statistical modeling. In addition, Aaron completed the Cox School of Business Graduate Finance Program at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.
