Scott Swenson

Scott Swenson is a 20-year veteran of the financial services industry. Scott brings his expertise in technical research in evaluating securities and financial markets to Banyan’s investment team.

Prior to joining Banyan, Scott was a Financial Advisor with Weiss Capital Management, a Florida-based investment advisory firm acquired by Banyan in 2011, where he worked directly with high net worth individuals and families. Scott’s tenure includes positions at Wachovia Securities (formerly First Union Securities) as well as a number of independent regional firms in the South Florida area, including J.W. Charles (now known as JW Genesis Financial Corp.).

Scott Swenson earned a BA in History from Ithaca College in New York in 1980, with a concentration in history and economics. He holds the Series 65 license.
