Paul J. Sorbara

Paul Sorbara is co-founder and partner of Temperance Partners, a private investment firm established with private capital designated for investment in the privately-owned financial services sector. 

Paul serves as a member of The Sorbara Group of Companies, a major Canadian property enterprise, where he is responsible for evaluating new investments and guiding the group’s strategic focus. In addition, Paul has an extensive legal and investment background having held positions with the E-Trade Technologies as legal counsel and senior experience in corporate law, private equity, M&A as well as securities, financing and real estate.

Paul earned his MBA from the University of Toronto, an MSc from the London School of Economics, an LLB from Osgoode Hall at York University and his bachelor’s degree from McGill University.
