Banyan Partners Acquires Weiss Capital Management

Combined Entity to Manage Nearly $1 Billion

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (Globe Newswire) January 20, 2011 &mdash Banyan Partners, LLC (www.BanyanPartners.net), an investment advisory firm specializing in customized investment portfolios, and Weiss Capital Management, Inc. (www.WeissCM.com), an independent SEC Registered Investment Adviser, jointly announced a strategic acquisition that results in a national wealth management and investment advisory firm servicing nearly $1 billion in combined assets under management.
